Occupational therapy
Deals with managing the varied sensory, physical and cognitive issues in children on spectrum. The therapist works on sensory integration of each child and reviews the progress as per the goals. The Academy has all the equipments used in OT.
Children on the spectrum require adapted teaching techniques and adapted environment. Special educators in the academy prepare an IEP and works on reading, writing and comprehension. Their goal is to train child in functional academics.
Sports and athletics play important role in shaping child’s overall health and provide training for participating in Special Olympics. The Academy has facilities for activities like skating, tennis ball throw, shot put, table tennis and various athletics games under the supervision of trained...
It involves the usage of tools and techniques to provide intervention to children and adults on spectrum with speech delay and communication barriers. The experts provide an assessment plan to follow the intervention process.
